KEEP READINGBelize is an interesting, beautiful, and quirky country located in the tropics, so it is easy to understand why so many people make the decision to move to Belize. However, while more people seem to be heading for Belize all of the time, there is also a real revolving door of folks who made the decision to relocate to Belize, but after a relatively short period of time here, they decide to either move back home or to move to another country.

In Corozal, one sees a lot of Spanish/Mexican influence, as the town is very close to the border with Mexico. The town sits on a large bay, and is surrounded by lots of smaller rural villages and agricultural areas. Living just outside of Corozal town, we meet an expat who visited the country with her family just once before buying a house, moving, and hitting the ground running by establishing a business and getting her Work Permit right away.
